কন্ঠাস্থি বা হাইওয়েড কী ।। Vocal cord or hyoid কী

নি¤œচোয়াল ও ল্যারিংক্সের মাঝে অবস্থিত U আকৃতির অস্থিকে হাইওয়েড বলে। ইহা একটি দেহ কান্ড ও ৪টি কর্নুয়া নিয়ে গঠিত। এর মাঝখানের অংশকে দেহকান্ড বা হাইওয়েড বডি বলে। বডির উভয় পাশে দুইটি ছোট কর্নুয়া এবং পিছনে দুইটি বড় কর্নুয়া থাকে।

Discussion of Ear Ossicles

There are 3 small bones in the middle ear. These are-

  1. Malleus: It looks like a hammer. One end is attached to the tympanic membrane and the other end to the incus.
  2. Incus: It looks like an anvil. One end is attached to the malleus and the other to the stapes.
  3. Stepis: Stepis looks like a triangular or stirrup. It is the smallest bone in the human body. One end is attached to the incus and the other end to the fenestra ovalis.

কর্ণাস্থি কী কী ।। Ear Ossicles কী কী

মধ্যকর্ণে ৩টি ছোট অস্থি রয়েছে। এ গুলো হলো-

১। ম্যালিয়াসঃ ইহা দেখতে হাতুড়ির (hammer) মতো। এর এক প্রান্ত টিমপেনিক পর্দার সাথে এবং অন্য প্রান্ত ইনকাসের সাথে যুক্ত থাকে।

২। ইনকাসঃ ইহা দেখতে নেহাইয়ের (anvil) মতো। এর এক প্রান্ত ম্যালিয়াসের সাথে এবং অপর প্রান্ত স্টেপিসের সাথে যুক্ত থাকে।

৩। স্টেপিসঃ স্টেপিস দেখতে ত্রিকোণাকার বা ঘোড়ার জিনের পাদানির (stirrup) মতো। ইহা মানব দেহের সবচেয়ে ছোট অস্থি। এর এক প্রান্ত ইনকাসের সাথে এবং অপর প্রান্ত ফেনেস্ট্রা ওভালিসের সাথে যুক্ত থাকে।

Discussion of Facial skeleton

The front and lower part of the carotid body is called the face. It consists of 14 bones in total. The facial bones are:

  1. Nasal bone: It is an oblong bone. It forms the bridge of the nose.
  2. Nasal Concha: A pair of thin and curved bones located on either side of the nasal cavity is the nasal concha.
  3. Vomer: It is a quadrangular plate like bone. It forms the nasa separator.
  4. Palatine bone: It forms the roof of the nose and the wall of the nasal cavity.
  5. Lacrimal bone: It consists of a lacrimal canal, lacrimal sac and nasolacrimal duct.
  6. Zygomatic bone: It is a quadrangular bone. It consists of an elevated part called the zygomatic arch.
  7. Maxilla: The upper jaw consists of two equal maxillae. Right and left maxilla. It has four amplifiers. These are – zygomatic, palatine, frontal and alveolar.
  8. Mandible: The mandible is the lower jaw. It looks U shaped. It consists of a trunk and 2 branches. It has two amplifiers. Coronoid and condyloid.

ম্যান্ডিবল কী

ম্যান্ডিবল হলো নিম্ন চোয়াল। ইহা দেখতে U আকৃতির। ইহা একটি দেহকান্ড ও ২টি শাখা নিয়ে গঠিত। এতে দুটি প্রবর্ধক রয়েছে। করনয়েড ও কন্ডাইলয়েড।

ম্যাক্সিলা কী

উর্ধ্ব চোয়ালে দুটি সম ম্যাক্সিলা থাকে। ডান ও বাম ম্যাক্সিলা। এতে চারটি প্রবর্ধক রয়েছে। এ গুলো হলো- জাইগোম্যাটিক, প্যালেটাইন, ফ্রন্টাল ও অ্যালভিওলার।
