Anther-classification

1. Pedicel Pollen: The pollinator that has stamens attached to its base is called Pedicel Pollen.
2. Adjacent anthers: The anthers on the surface of which the stamens are attached are called anthers.
3. Lateral anthers: The anthers that have stamens attached to the entire surface are called lateral anthers.
4. Sarvamukh pollinator: A pollinator that swings from side to side and faces all directions is called a Sarvamukh pollinator. For example, rice.
5. Collateral Pollination: When the stamens are attached to the petals it is called Collateral Pollination. Like Dhutura, Eggplant.
6. Anthers: If the anther looks like a kidney, it is called Anthers. Jaba, Karpus etc.
7. Linear anthers: If the anthers are narrow and long, they are called linear anthers.
