Born-30 September 1951 AD. He is an Australian medical scientist. Warren and Marshall discovered the bacteria Helicobacter pylori and discovered the bacteria’s role in causing gastritis and peptic ulcers. Awards received include Nobel in Medicine (2005), Lasker Award, Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter, Buchanan Medal, Prince Mahidol Award, Keio Medical Science Prize etc.
