Hypotension : causes, symptoms and remedy

If the blood pressure is lower than a certain level in the normal state of the body and mind, it is called low blood pressure or hypotension. Systolic blood pressure 100 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 60 mmHg or less is called low blood pressure.

Causes of Hypotension
(i) Dilation of blood vessels
(ii) Profuse bleeding
(iii) Anemia
(iv) Defects in blood circulation to the heart
(v) Excessive sweating
(vi) Diarrhea and vomiting
(viii) Imbalance of electrolytes in the body.

Complications of Hypotension
(i) Dizziness, light-headedness, light-headedness, dizziness when getting up from lying down or sitting, fainting.
(ii) Blurred or dark vision in the eyes
(iii) Physical weakness and mental exhaustion
(iv) Imbalance and inattention
(v) Excessive sleeping and drowsiness
(vi) Rapid breathing, abnormally fast heart rate and increased pulse rate.
(vii) Cold hands and feet
(viii) Feeling very thirsty

Remedy for Hypotension
(i) Intake of nutritious food
(ii) Adequate drinking of water
(iii) It is better to eat more loose salt in leaves
(iv) Get up carefully after sitting for a long time.
