১৯৫৩ সালে ইংরেজি ও দর্শন বিভাগ খোলার মাধ্যমে কলা অনুষদ তথা রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের যাত্রা শুরু হয়। বর্তমানে কলা অনুষদে ১১টি বিভাগ রয়েছে।
