Treatment: Reproductive disability is removed if the disease is diagnosed and given proper treatment.
Drugs use: Women are given drugs like Clomiphene Citrate, Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Human Menopausal Gonadotrophin (HMG) etc. for ovulation. It regularizes the menstrual cycle and produces eggs.
Modern techniques: Endoscopic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, Mirena, thermal balloon etc. can eliminate reproductive disability or infertility through modern medical methods.
IVF: Fertilization is done in a test tube by collecting sperm and eggs from the body. The embryo is then implanted in the woman’s uterus.
Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI): It is artificial insemination method. Semen containing active sperm is injected into the uterus through the cervix. There the sperm and egg meet. It gives 15-20% benefit.
Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): A viable sperm is injected into the egg through micro-injection.
