Frances Arnold, George Smith and Gregory Winter discovered that antibodies produced by phage display could prevent autoimmune diseases and cure metastatic cancer. Awards received include Nobel in Chemistry (2018), Garvan Olin Medal, FASEB Award, Draper Prize, Millennium Technology Prize etc.
